Oct 11 @ 12:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Please Join Us for Parent Day!!!

2015 OAGC Parent Day

2015 OAGC Parent Day Flier *includes registration form!*

Please plan to attend the OAGC Parent Day on Sunday, October 11 from 12:30-6:30. A great jam-packed day, and it only costs $5!

First is our Division meeting–ALL parents welcome! Perhaps suggest carpooling from your area.

Stephanie Tolan will be the bulk of the afternoon. She will keynote and then we have a Q&A with her.

Then a parent/professional panel on how to be an advocate from the classroom level on up. The panel will be comprised of a professor from OU/parent, former Gifted Coordinator, OAGC Director Ann Sheldon and a parent or two.

We also have one of the authors from the new Fordham book called Failing Our Brightest Kids, a look into how the US is doing too little to educate students to achieve at high levels.

Parent Day is a great opportunity to network and learn from other families–and often the educational/game vendors have set up early so you can buy from them.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and hope to see you on October 11! Angela Grimm, OAGC Parent Division Chair aecrowder@yahoo.com

Selective Admissions School Fair 2018 @ Eastmoor Academy
Jan 18 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

PACE Selective Admissions School Fair

Several schools within the Columbus City Schools (CCS) district participate in the Selective Admissions Lottery program. This program allows gifted & talented students within our district to apply for enrollment at the most appropriate schools through a selective lottery process. Eastmoor Academy and Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS) are academic high school options. For our gifted and talented arts students, there are opportunities at the high school (Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School), middle school [Arts Impact Middle School (AIMS)], and elementary school (Duxberry Park Arts Impact) levels. Representatives from these schools as well as Central Enrollment will be in attendance to assist you with planning and navigating the CCS selective admission process. Hope to see you there!

Thursday, January 18, 2018 – 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
